About the Role

Our client, an innovative charity organization dedicated to enhancing community well-being, is searching for an experienced and creative Remote Communications Manager . This position is fully remote and will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that amplify the organization's mission and impact across South Africa, particularly within the Free State province. You will manage all aspects of public relations, digital media, content creation, and brand messaging, ensuring consistent and compelling outreach to diverse audiences.

• Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
• Manage and create engaging content for the organization's website, social media platforms, and newsletters.
• Oversee public relations efforts, including media outreach and crisis communications.
• Develop key messaging and ensure consistent brand voice across all communications channels.
• Produce high-quality reports, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with program teams to effectively communicate the impact and stories of the organization's work.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling capabilities.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media management, and content management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience in developing communication strategies for diverse audiences is highly valued.
