About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Digital Marketing Strategist to shape their online presence from a remote location. You will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand engagement. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with expertise in SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and analytics, who can translate business objectives into effective digital campaigns.
You will lead the digital marketing efforts, leveraging data to inform decisions and optimize performance, all within a fully remote, collaborative team structure based in Stellenbosch .
- Develop, implement, and manage long-term digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee and optimize all search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives.
- Drive the content marketing strategy, including editorial calendars, content creation, and distribution plans.
- Manage and scale paid media campaigns across various digital advertising platforms.
- Analyze digital marketing performance data, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on strategy development and execution in a remote context.
- Expertise in SEO, SEM, PPC, content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
