About the position

As Head of CRM, you lead an integral area of neon’s company strategy. You will own and further shape neon’s Client Relationship Management across all channels, from understanding to positively impacting clients’ experience throughout their lifecycle with neon. You will lead the CRM team of 5, closely cooperate with the Customer Data & Product teams and work directly with the CMO.

You will be empowered to further deepen your expertise in lifecycle marketing, client engagement and the Swiss fintech and banking market, while shaping how AI and automation scale neon’s communications impact.

What this job offers

• Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing – design and scale behaviour-triggered CRM journeys (onboarding, activation, retention, win-back) across email, push, in-app, and SMS to improve customer activation, satisfaction and LTV growth.
• Lead client communication & edutainment initiatives – ensure neon‑style communication of new products, features, partner or company updates. Develop financial literacy content & campaigns that make complex money topics engaging.
• Evolve and manage a data‑driven CRM team & infrastructure – mentor CRM marketers & analysts; drive analytics frameworks (A/B testing, customer segmentation; next‑best offer engines), oversee Martech stack and ensure GDPR/FINMA compliant‑communication
• Empowerment with CRM budget, direct revenue impact, and representation of neon CRM as a leading voice in the industry

• You have several years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing or marketing automation, ideally in a fast‑paced or digital‑first environment
• You have led a team before and enjoy developing people’s autonomy & success
• You combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on mindset – you are as comfortable defining a lifecycle framework as to calculating campaign business cases or jumping into a campaign build when needed
• You have a strong command of CRM platforms, experimentation and – increasingly – AI‑assisted tools and workflows
• You communicate clearly in Englisch and German/French and adapt your tone to diverse audiences, always with an eye for brand and compliance
