Talent Match Africa is looking for a Marketing Virtual Assistant to join an Australian-based team on a full-time, long-term basis.

Working Hours: 12:00 AM(Midnight) to 9:00 AM SAST

Location:
Sandton, Johannesburg | Office-based | Australian business hours

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, can manage multiple marketing activities independently and is confident taking campaigns from planning through to execution.

• Manage and schedule social media content across relevant platforms
• Plan, launch and monitor social media campaigns
• Set up and manage marketing funnels, landing pages and lead-generation campaigns
• Create, schedule and manage newsletters and email marketing campaigns
• Build and maintain email lists, campaigns and automated workflows
• Coordinate marketing campaigns from planning through to execution
• Assist with social, email and promotional content creation
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports on engagement, leads and conversions
• Maintain marketing calendars and ensure campaigns are delivered on time
• Support lead generation and audience engagement initiatives
• Conduct basic market and competitor research
• Assist with website, CRM and marketing platform updates
• Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, campaigns and conversion rates
• Use automation and AI tools to improve marketing efficiency

• 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, social media, email marketing or a similar role
• Experience setting up and managing marketing funnels and email campaigns
• Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, automation and social media tools
• Strong written communication and content creation skills
• A good understanding of digital marketing principles and lead generation
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines independently
• Comfortable learning and working with new marketing platforms and technology

• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership
• Hands-on and execution-focused rather than purely strategy-focused
• Creative, detail-oriented and commercially minded
• Solutions-focused and able to work independently
• Comfortable keeping stakeholders updated on progress
• Confident using technology, automation and AI tools to improve efficiency

We’re looking for someone who can become a genuine extension of the team and take ownership of the day-to-day marketing function.
