About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Remote Communications Officer to enhance their public image and stakeholder engagement. This fully remote position is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies across various platforms, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling messaging about our client's mission and impact. You will craft content for social media, press releases, newsletters, and website updates, playing a vital role in amplifying our message to a wider audience.

As a remote team member, you will leverage digital tools to collaborate effectively and manage communication channels independently, contributing significantly to the organization's outreach efforts from anywhere.

• Develop and implement integrated communication strategies to promote the organization's mission and activities.
• Create engaging content for various channels, including social media, website, email newsletters, and press releases.
• Manage the organization's social media presence, monitoring engagement and responding to inquiries.
• Write and edit press releases and media advisories, liaising with journalists and media outlets as needed.
• Assist in the development of annual reports, brochures, and other communication materials.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze communication campaign effectiveness.

• Proven experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and digital content creation.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant discipline.
