Digital Content Creator - Arts & Entertainment

Our client is seeking a vibrant and creative Digital Content Creator to join their dynamic Arts & Entertainment team based in Midrand . This role is pivotal in developing engaging and innovative digital content across various platforms to promote artistic events, artists, and cultural initiatives. You will be instrumental in shaping our online presence and connecting with diverse audiences through compelling storytelling and visually appealing media.

This hybrid position offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing for a dynamic work environment within the thriving arts scene of Gauteng .

• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content, including promotional videos, artist interviews, and behind-the-scenes features.
• Design visually engaging graphics, infographics, and social media assets using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
• Write compelling copy for social media posts, blog articles, website updates, and email newsletters, tailored to different platforms and audiences.
• Manage and schedule content across social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter) and monitor engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing, PR, and event teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and brand messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital media trends, tools, and best practices in the Arts & Entertainment industry.

• Proven experience as a Digital Content Creator or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video, graphic design, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and content optimization strategies.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and copywriting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic web analytics tools.
