About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior PR Executive to join their established team in Polokwane . This role requires a skilled professional who can lead public relations initiatives, manage media campaigns, and enhance the company's brand reputation. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative PR strategies, fostering relationships with key media contacts, and ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels.

• Develop and implement strategic PR plans to meet company objectives and enhance brand visibility.
• Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
• Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze campaign effectiveness, and report on results.
• Advise senior management on PR matters and crisis communication strategies.
• Mentor junior members of the PR team and foster a collaborative environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful PR campaigns.
• Strong network of media contacts within South Africa.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience in crisis communications management is essential.
