Creative Marketing Assistant

WOLO Travel is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and hands-on Creative Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Team.

We’re looking for someone with 1–2 years of practical experience in marketing, content or social media who can create strong visual and written content, manage day-to-day social activity and work confidently across multiple campaign briefs.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager , you’ll work closely with the wider Marketing Team to bring WOLO, our destinations and products to life across social media, campaigns, digital marketing, retail stores and other customer touchpoints.

• Create and adapt static, video and written content for social media, campaigns, digital advertising, email, website, in-store and other customer touchpoints
• Produce campaign artwork, product graphics, promotional collateral and photo and video content while maintaining a consistent WOLO look and feel
• Create content around our destinations, products, experiences and partnerships, including copywriting and proofreading

• Support the delivery of WOLO’s social content across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and other relevant platforms
• Monitor and manage comments, messages and customer interactions, responding in a timely, helpful and on-brand way and escalating where required
• Maintain strong product and destination knowledge to ensure customer responses are accurate, while identifying trends, UGC and community interactions that can inspire future content

• Support campaigns, tourism board partnerships, promotions, events and in-store activations with the creative and content required for delivery
• Prepare and organise creative assets for use across digital and offline channels, including internal, stock and user-generated photo and video content
• Work collaboratively across the Marketing Team and wider business to ensure marketing activity is delivered accurately and on time

Ideally, you’ll have:

• 1–2 years’ relevant work experience in marketing, content creation, social media or a similar role
• A relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia or a related field
• Experience using Canva or similar graphic design software
• Experience creating and editing video content using common video editing tools and platforms
• Strong written communication and copywriting skills
• A good working knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and everyday digital tools

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other design and content creation platforms would be advantageous.

You’ll help increase the Marketing Team’s creative capacity, ensure our campaigns have the content they need and contribute to making WOLO feel exciting, relevant and recognisable wherever our customers interact with us.
