Do you want to make an impact on the lives of children and young people in our local communities through the power of online content and stories?
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who can create original, engaging and meaningful content across social media, blogs, app communications and other owned digital channels. Your work will share compelling and audience-focused content, supporting the diverse and wide-ranging services YMCA Robin Hood Group offers across Nottinghamshire and East Riding.
This is an amazing opportunity to work within a not-for-profit, values-led organisation where your work directly makes a difference.
Role HighlightsJob Title:
Digital Marketing Executive
Location:
Split between our Community & Activity Village in Newark & the Malt Cross in Nottingham with 1 day working from home
Salary:£26,000 - £29,000
Hours:
37.5 hours per week with some evening and weekend work to support events when required.
This will be a hands-on role in creating content and copy for websites, email marketing and internal audiences, helping to keep customers, communities, colleagues and stakeholders informed and engaged.
You will thrive on collaboration and work closely with teams across the Group to identify, develop and share stories that showcase our impact but also promote our commercial services and youth programmes.
You will also support public relations activity and reputation management through the creation and distribution of stories, news and communications materials.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect your role to include:
- Planning, coordination and day-to-day management of YMCA Robin Hood Group’s content calendar across our owned multiple social accounts and digital channels.
- Create engaging content and communications that support the group’s services, programmes, campaigns and objectives including recruitment and fundraising.
- Working with teams across YMCA Robin Hood Group to identify, develop and share stories that demonstrate the impact of our services and the different we make within our communities.
- Attend events and activities where required to gather content, capture stories and support marketing communications activity.
- Build relationships with local communities, media outlets and stakeholders through social media engagement, public relations activity and positive storytelling.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and enquiries in line with organisational guidelines.
- Support colleagues across the group with marketing and communications activity, ensuring requests, opportunities and priorities are coordinated effectively.
The role would suit someone with previous experience in either a corporate or third sector organisation who has worked within a marketing department where you have gained experience of content creation, social media or PR. Through this experience, you will have enjoyed working across a variety of audiences, channels and objectives.
You will be an organised and proactive communicator who enjoys creating content, building relationships, uncovering stories and finding new ways to engage audiences. You will have excellent attention to detail and take huge pride in the quality of your work – both written content and visual image.
You will thrive on variety and love getting involved in multiple projects, using your range of skills and experiences.
You’ll be equally comfortable promoting commercial services and programmes as you are driving awareness and sharing the impact YMCA Robin Hood Group has within local communities.
We value the experience you have gained in you career to date and while a relevant degree or any formal study connected to digital marketing would be beneficial, it is not an essential requirement for this position.
