Are you the content creator who stokes our online fire?

Firecom specializes in the sale, maintenance, and service of two-way radios, two-way radio networks, paging systems, and alarm receivers for emergency response teams, industry, healthcare, and education. In addition, we offer a wide range of rental equipment for various sectors, from events to Public Order & Safety. In short: very diverse target groups!

Working from the same holding company (Idefix), you will also contribute to Ve Do Sign . Ve Do Sign  focuses on innovative communication solutions with a focus on retail, hospitality, logistics, industry, healthcare, and emergency response. Their wireless paging systems improve service, safety, and work efficiency. It is a well-known market leader across these diverse sectors. Two different markets, each with its own target audience and tone of voice—extra exciting for you as an aspiring marketer!

To reach these target groups, we utilize various online and offline channels. As a marketing intern, you will help us boost these channels for both brands.

What are you going to do?

During this internship, we believe it is important that you work on projects that energize you; therefore, your own input is highly valued here. We are looking for someone who gets excited about content creation (think video), but is also curious about the world behind online visibility. The duties include
(depending on your interests) :

• Writing, improving, and optimizing website content for search engines and AI platforms.
• Executing your own projects, such as improving the visual content on our websites or organizing a content shoot.
• Setting up and testing social media campaigns (e.g. Linked In or Instagram).
• Improving conversions on landing pages (CRO).
• Analyzing website and campaign performance (Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Experimenting with AI tools for content creation and SEO.
• Setting up customer cases or interviews (e.g. hospitality/retail vs. industry/healthcare).
• Assisting with the organization of trade fairs and events.

Affinity with online marketing, SEO, or AI-driven tools (experience is a plus, but not a must). Interest in and/or experience (preferred) with Word Press, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEO tools (Ahrefs, Wincher), or social media tools (Later, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Linked In Campaign Manager).

You think outside the box and dare to pitch ideas.

In addition to social skills, it is also important that you possess strong writing skills in Dutch and a proactive attitude.

We offer a market-based internship allowance, depending on your knowledge and education.

A pleasant workspace at our office in Lekkerkerk and working every two months at the Ve Do Sign  office in Baarn (transport arranged).
