Senior AI Creative Designer at OKX - Remote APAC

OKX explicitly mentions comfort working in a remote environment as a requirement, making this role genuinely remote-friendly rather than a nominal offering. However, the APAC location hint and Mandarin + English language requirement strongly suggest expected overlap with UTC+8 (Singapore/Hong Kong/China) working hours — limiting flexibility for nomads based in Europe or the Americas.

To collaborate effectively with OKX's multilingual, cross-regional teams, you'll likely need to be available during APAC business hours (roughly 9am–6pm SGT/HKT). This suits nomads based in Southeast Asia, East Asia, or Australia. Popular nomad hubs that fit this window include:

• Bali, Indonesia – UTC+8, low cost (~$1,200–1,800/mo), thriving digital nomad scene
• Chiang Mai, Thailand – UTC+7, very affordable (~$1,000–1,500/mo), excellent coworking infrastructure
• Taipei, Taiwan – UTC+8, moderate cost (~$1,800–2,500/mo), strong tech culture

Many APAC countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia) offer digital nomad or long-stay visas suitable for remote workers. Thailand's LTR Visa and Indonesia's new Second Home Visa are strong options for APAC-based nomads.

No explicit coworking or travel allowance is mentioned, but the wellness allowance could partially offset these costs. The async-capable design workflow (AI-driven asset production) offers some schedule flexibility outside of meetings.
