The Fire Department of Liberty Township is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join our Administrative team in Clayton. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to apply marketing expertise in support of public safety communications and community engagement.
In this role, you will design, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns that keep residents informed, promote department initiatives, and strengthen community relationships. Working within the public safety industry, you will collaborate closely with administrative staff and department leadership to deliver clear, timely, and engaging messages to a diverse audience.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $46,300 - $55,000 yearly, along with the flexibility of remote work and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the Liberty Township community.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that support department goals
- Build and maintain email distribution lists and audience segments
- Write, edit, and proofread email content for accuracy, clarity, and tone
- Design visually appealing email templates consistent with department branding
- Schedule and deploy campaigns according to communications calendars
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and prepare regular reports
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, and send times
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices
- Manage subscriber data and maintain database hygiene
- Collaborate with administrative staff on messaging priorities and announcements
- Stay current with email marketing tools, trends, and emerging techniques
- Respond to community inquiries generated through email communications
- Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing or digital communications
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar tools
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with audience segmentation and list management
- Familiarity with email performance metrics and analytics
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities in a remote setting
