Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

LASCANA USA |

Reports to:

Director of Growth | Hybrid – Jacksonville, FL

Position Summary

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist executes LASCANA USA’s retention strategy across email, SMS and loyalty. This hands‑on role manages campaigns and automated journeys across the customer lifecycle from converting non‑buyers to increasing repeat purchases and reactivating lapsed customers. The specialist also manages promotional planning for these channels and uses customer data to improve targeting, personalization and performance.

This role works closely with the Director of Growth. Given the breadth of the role, spanning campaign execution, promotional planning, loyalty and testing, we're looking for someone who thrives on variety and can move fluidly between hands‑on execution and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle Marketing
  • Execute programs for non-buyers, first‑time buyers, repeat customers, high‑value customers and lapsed customers.
  • Use purchase history, browsing behavior, engagement and customer value to improve segmentation and personalization.
  • Manage contact frequency and coordinate messaging across email, SMS and loyalty.
Campaign Execution
  • Build, schedule, test, tag and deploy email and SMS campaigns.
  • Manage automated journeys, including welcome, cart abandonment, post‑purchase and more.
  • Coordinate audience selection, content, product selection, send times, tracking and promotional codes.
  • Review campaign content and complete quality assurance before deployment.
  • Monitor campaign delivery, accuracy, deliverability and compliance.
Promotional Planning
  • Maintain the promotional calendar for email, SMS and loyalty.
  • Translate product launches, seasonal events, merchandising priorities and inventory needs into channel plans.
  • Recommend the audience, timing, message, offer and channel for each promotion.
  • Coordinate offer details, codes, exclusions and campaign setup.
  • Analyze promotion performance and recommend improvements.
  • Balance revenue goals with margin, customer relevance and promotional frequency.
Loyalty and Reviews
  • Integrate loyalty and review communications into campaigns and automated journeys.
  • Execute programs that increase loyalty enrollment, engagement, reward redemption and repeat purchases.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve platform or integration issues (e.g., data-sync errors, API/connector outages), escalating technical fixes to Technology as needed.
Testing and Analysis
  • Maintain a test‑and‑learn calendar covering audiences, content, offers, calls to action, send times and frequency.
  • Analyze & document performance by campaign, customer segment and lifecycle stage.
  • Partner with the Director of Growth to identify customer trends and recommend actions.
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Work with Marketing, Creative, E‑commerce, Merchandising and Technology to execute customer communications.
  • Prepare campaign briefs for the graphics artist.
  • Manage external platform and agency partners as needed.
  • Prioritize ad hoc requests alongside planned campaigns.
Qualifications
Required
  • 2+ years of experience in email, SMS, CRM, lifecycle or retention marketing.
  • 2+ years of e‑commerce or direct‑to‑consumer experience.
  • Experience building high‑volume campaigns in an ESP (Attentive or a comparable platform).
  • Proven ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas.
  • Understanding of segmentation, personalization and automated journeys.
  • Experience with promotional calendars, campaign testing and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project‑management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Direct hands‑on experience with Attentive specifically.
  • Analytical and customer‑focused
  • Organized and detail‑oriented
  • Results‑driven
  • Comfortable with both planning and hands‑on execution
