Job Description & How to Apply Below
We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have excellent writing, editing, and collaboration skills that enable you to transform technical topics into stories that are read, shared, and acted upon by audiences that include executives, analysts, journalists, engineers, and internal company stakeholders. You can work with a global team to identify technology trends and newsworthy initiatives, then compose and edit engaging copy for magazine articles, blog posts, case studies, white papers, and more.

You think in storylines, not product promotion. You can sit with an engineer who just solved a hard problem and walk out with a narrative that makes sense to someone who has never written a line of code. You are comfortable following through on producing great content by adding graphical elements that help tell the story, publishing it, and promoting it.

At Synopsys, you will work on stories that shape how the semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, energy, industrial, and AI sectors understand what we do and why it matters.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Research and pitch stories proactively to support marketing campaigns and events
  • Interview customers and internal stakeholders
  • Write and edit blogs, case studies, magazine articles, e-books, and white papers that translate technical depth into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal subject matter experts
  • Manage content workflow from approval to publication to ensure deadlines are met
  • Create content marketing plans to support campaigns
  • Collaborate with industry marketing, product marketing, media relations, and field marketing teams to align messaging across channels
  • Use AI to automate time-consuming or repetitive tasks so you have more time to craft compelling stories
The Impact You Will Have
  • Shape how the industry and business press understand Synopsys' role in enabling AI, simulation, and next-generation semiconductor innovation across various industries
  • Increase the quality of content marketing assets
  • Strengthen executive visibility and positioning as thought leaders in a highly technical, high-stakes industry
  • Reduce risk by ensuring our public statements are clear, accurate, and aligned
  • Help the broader product solutions marketing team move faster and smarter by modeling what good content marketing looks like
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in product marketing, journalism, corporate communications, or PR, ideally with exposure to technology companies
  • A portfolio of work that shows you can write clearly and quickly for external audiences
  • Comfort working across time zones and with global teams; this is a remote role, but the work is not isolated
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Express is a strong plus
Who You Are
  • You can explain a complex technical concept to a layperson in two sentences without losing the substance or oversimplifying
  • You know when to push back on a story that is not ready and when to move fast because the window is closing
  • You are comfortable being the person in the room who says 'that quote does not work' or 'this angle will not land'
  • You do not need to be the loudest voice on a call, but when you speak, people listen because you have done the work
  • You can juggle three blog requests, a white paper, and a case study without losing track of what matters most
The Team You'll Be Part Of

The Content Marketing team is responsible for creating blogs, customer success stories, e-books, magazine articles, white papers, and web pages that are relevant, differentiated, and clearly communicate the benefits of the company’s solutions. We interview customers, partners, and internal subject matter experts, create content, set content strategy for campaigns, and maintain content style guides and standards.
