Travel Percentage Negligible Category Marketing ## Description The Marketing Manager develops and implements program marketing strategies intended to drive adoption of energy-efficient products, services, and practices in the market.

The Marketing Manager works closely with NEEA’s Program Management team to ensure NEEA is employing marketing best practices as well as measuring and optimizing marketing effectiveness across NEEA’s portfolio of Market Transformation programs. This includes aligning marketing strategies for key programs with external stakeholders and across internal matrixed teams.

Marketing is a highly integrated component of NEEA’s Market Transformation work, and the Marketing Manager must possess exceptional collaboration skills and a strong ability to identify, leverage, and coordinate opportunities across markets.

This position is based in the Portland, OR metro area, with a hybrid work location.
** We are looking for candidates who can meet the requirement of working at least 2 days per week onsite at NEEA’s office location.
** Finalists must have eligibility to work in the US as NEEA is not able to provide VISA sponsorship or have remote work outside of the US.Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000, exempt

*** Driving marketing strategy and annual integrated marketing plan development as a core member of cross-functional program teams, ensuring economies of scale and the capture of coordination opportunities across programs and projects.
* Demonstrating a deep understanding of program goals and confidently directing execution of program marketing strategies with limited oversight.
* Developing and ensuring NEEA implements marketing best practices across program marketing activities.
* Optimizing and measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts. .
* Identifying marketing opportunities by analyzing market research and evaluations on a regular basis.
* In conjunction with the Market Research Department, ensuring consumer messaging and other marketing efforts reflect the audience and end-user needs.
* Partnering with the Stakeholder Relations team, coordinating with utility programs, and ensuring a high level of stakeholder communication and engagement around NEEA marketing efforts.
* Collaborating with NEEA’s Corporate Communications team to tell Market Transformation success stories that demonstrate the value and impact of NEEA’s work across the region.
* Performing other duties which may be necessary or desirable to support the organization’s success.

** This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. This position is responsible for supervising and managing the work of contractors. The Marketing Manager provides leadership, direction, and guidance to his or her teams and contractors, and provides assistance to management in achieving work group success.## Qualifications

*** BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
* 8+ years of professional experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing, communications, and brand development/management.
* Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Marketing Skills
* Experience with all aspects of marketing communications (e.g., messaging, collateral, PR, web, social marketing, advertising), and ability to successfully design and oversee high-quality integrated marketing programs.
