We're looking for a Marketing & Client Services Intern to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a hands-on role for someone interested in learning how a boutique marketing agency operates while gaining experience across client service, marketing, project coordination, business development, and agency operations.
The intern will work closely with our founders and account team and will have opportunities to sit in on client meetings, contribute to active projects, and gain deeper exposure to accounts and areas of marketing that align with their interests and career goals.
Responsibilities- Support Strass Collins’ firm marketing efforts, including portfolio updates, social media, client gifting, and conference/event preparation.
- Support select client accounts through meeting notes, research, project assistance, and coordination.
- Assist with day-to-day operational and client service needs
- Help keep internal systems, project information, and shared resources organized and up to date.
- Support company leadership with sales and business development priorities.
- Gain exposure to different accounts and types of work based on your interests and career goals.
- Assist with ongoing internal projects and marketing initiatives as needed.
The ideal candidate is:
- Current college student or recent graduate, preferably studying marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing several small projects at once.
- A strong written and verbal communicator.
- Detail-oriented and willing to ask questions when something isn't clear.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
- Professional and comfortable participating in client meetings and handling client information.
- Interested in learning about multiple areas of marketing and agency work.
- Familiar with Canva and common business productivity tools; prior agency experience is not required.
- Able to provide their own reliable laptop and internet connection for remote work.
This is a hybrid position based in the Tampa Bay area. Candidates must be able to meet with the Strass Collins team in person for at least part of the day on Wednesdays. The remainder of the internship schedule can be arranged around the intern's classes and other commitments, with work generally completed remotely.
Occasional local errands, client-related preparation, or event support may also be part of the role, so reliable transportation in the Tampa area is required.
We anticipate approximately 10-15 hours per week, with some flexibility depending on the intern's school schedule and our workload.
What you'll gainThis internship offers exposure to the day-to-day work of a small marketing agency and the opportunity to build experience across marketing strategy, client service, account management, branding, digital marketing, operations, events, and business development.
We'll also make an effort to tailor portions of the internship to the candidate's interests. If there is a particular area of marketing they want to explore, we'll look for opportunities to involve them in relevant client work and projects throughout the year.
