Pricing I/O is a fast-growing pricing consultancy and coaching practice, hyper-focused on helping B2B SaaS and Tech companies monetize value. Our team of high performers is dedicated to helping growth-stage software companies capture more value and shift pricing from guesswork to a framework. Our interactive and hands-on approach is proven across hundreds of software businesses and teaches companies how to price for tomorrow while solving for today.
DESCRIPTIONThe Head of Marketing is a senior, hands-on leader who owns Pricing I/O's brand, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the leadership team, this person will take part in leadership-level business decisions and help shape where Pricing I/O goes next, not just how it's marketed. This role will build and scale the marketing function from the ground up: sharpening how Pricing I/O tells its story, generating demand for our services, and leading go-to-market for new offerings such as Currv, our evolution from a project-based consultancy into a continuous, managed pricing partner.
This role is approximately 50% leading the marketing function (strategy, planning, and building the team) and 50% hands-on execution. You'll be the senior marketing subject-matter expert on the leadership team, and you should be comfortable making recommendations and operating independently without an established marketing playbook.
This is a remote position, with occasional in-person team offsites.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Own brand positioning & messaging:
Partner with leadership to build and refine Pricing I/O's core messaging and competitive positioning - including how the company differentiates its human expertise in an increasingly AI-saturated market. - Lead go-to-market for new offerings:
Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for new products and services, including the Currv launch - audience targeting, messaging, launch planning, and cross-functional coordination. - Drive the website & digital presence:
Own the strategy behind Pricing I/O's website, ensuring clear calls-to-action and persona-specific paths for both champions and economic decision-makers. - Revamp service packaging:
Lead the redesign of Pricing I/O's service packaging into clearer, more modular engagements (e.g., bite-sized offerings like a "Competitive Sprint"). - Build lead nurture & lifecycle marketing:
Evaluate and implement nurture and lifecycle tooling (e.g., Customer.io), and design behavioral trigger campaigns that move leads through the funnel. - Own marketing metrics & reporting:
Define and build out the marketing KPIs that feed the leadership dashboard, and use data to guide strategy and prioritization. - Manage the marketing tech stack:
Own the marketing tech stack (e.g., Hub Spot), ensuring the team has the tools and access needed to execute efficiently. - Build & lead the marketing function:
Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team as Pricing I/O scales. - Partner cross-functionally:
Work closely with the Client Growth/Sales team, Delivery, and executive leadership to ensure marketing efforts support pipeline generation and the overall client experience.
