Radical has already served thousands of cancer patients, with an average patient rating of 9.4/10 and growing organic demand. Now we want to reach millions.
We are hiring our first consumer growth leader to build the engine that gets Radical into the hands of every cancer patient who could benefit from it. You will own how patients discover Radical, why they trust us, what keeps them engaged, and what makes them tell someone else about us.
You will start by building organic content, patient referrals, community, and partnerships, then identify and scale the next channels that can drive meaningful growth.
This is a senior individual contributor role with direct access to the founders. You will be expected to execute yourself, learn quickly, and then build a team around what works.
What you will ownBuild Radical’s organic acquisition engine
Develop content and distribution systems that reach cancer patients when they need help, earn their trust, and turn attention into active usage. You will identify the messages, formats, creators, and channels that consistently produce patient growth. Reach and views matter, but success will be measured by the patients who activate, receive value, and continue using Radical.
Turn patients into a sustainable growth channel
Build referral, word-of-mouth, and community programs that patients want to share with others facing cancer. You will work closely with patients and the care team to understand what creates trust, what makes Radical worth recommending, and how to support sharing without exploiting a sensitive moment in someone’s life.
Improve conversion across the patient journey
Own experimentation across landing pages, onboarding, messaging, creative, and lifecycle communication. You will identify where prospective patients lose confidence or momentum, develop clear hypotheses, ship tests quickly, and use behavioral and qualitative data to improve the experience.
Find new sources of patient growth
Test new formats, creators, partnerships, communities, and distribution channels. Turn promising experiments into repeatable systems and stop investing in channels that do not produce meaningful patient outcomes.
Build an AI-native growth operation
Use AI to accelerate research, content development, creative iteration, audience analysis, and experiment operations. Build lightweight automations that allow you to move quickly without sacrificing judgment or quality. Cancer communication requires a particularly high bar.
Who we are looking forYou have spent five or more years building consumer growth, content, community, referrals, partnerships, or acquisition at an early‑stage or breakout company.
You are likely to do well here if:
Built content engines that scaled from zero to tens of millions of views.
You are an executor. You can develop a strategy, create the first campaign, analyze its performance, and improve it yourself. You create clarity when there is no established playbook.
You have strong creative judgment and can make complicated or intimidating subjects clear without making them simplistic.
You are comfortable owning a number and explaining why performance is ahead of or behind plan.
You use AI and automation to increase your output without lowering the quality of the work.
Healthcare experience is helpful but not required, but you should want to work very closely with cancer patients.
This role may not be right for you ifYou prefer remote work and 9-5 hours. This team works together in person in San Francisco every day.
You want to manage a large team rather than build the first version yourself.
You need a mature growth stack, established channel playbooks, or fully defined processes before you can start.
You are uncomfortable speaking…
