Remote Community Engagement Coordinator

Our client seeks a dynamic Remote Community Engagement Coordinator to foster connections and build relationships within communities across various regions, focusing initially on areas like Stellenbosch . This role is pivotal in bridging communication between the organization and its stakeholders, ensuring needs are understood and initiatives are well-received. You will leverage digital tools to organize online events, disseminate information, and gather feedback, playing a critical role in community outreach from a remote setting.

• Develop and implement remote strategies for community engagement and outreach.
• Organize and manage online community events, webinars, and information sessions.
• Facilitate communication channels between the organization and community members via digital platforms.
• Gather and analyze community feedback to inform program development and service improvements.
• Create and distribute engaging content for community newsletters, social media, and other digital channels.
• Identify and build relationships with key community leaders and organizations remotely.

• A relevant degree or certification in communications, community development, social sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in community engagement, project coordination, or communications, preferably with remote elements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive messaging.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools, social media platforms, and online collaboration software.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities to manage multiple remote initiatives.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a remote team structure, serving the Western Cape and beyond.
