Are you a CPG/product marketing professional who loves taking an idea from concept to shelf — and thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment?
My team is working with a growing consumer products company in Hudson County, NJ (1 day/week onsite, 4 days/week work from home) that is looking for a hands‑on Product Marketing Manager to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to take true ownership of the product lifecycle and make a visible impact from day one.
What You'll Own- Lead 5–10 new product launches annually, from ideation through go-to-market
- Own product strategy, P&L, pricing, forecasting, and category performance
- Develop Amazon‑first launch strategies and partner closely with E‑commerce
- Drive product positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy
- Blend data‑driven insights with creative marketing and execution
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, Creative, Sales, Operations, and E‑commerce
- Manage products beyond launch, identifying opportunities to optimize and grow the category
This isn’t a role where you simply hand off a plan and move on to the next project. You'll be deeply involved in the entire product lifecycle and have the opportunity to shape what gets launched, how it's positioned, and how it performs.
You'll join a team with a startup mentality where initiative, creativity, speed, and ownership are highly valued.
The ideal background:- 3-5+ years of CPG, consumer products, product marketing, or product management experience
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management
- Experience with Amazon/e-commerce launches strongly preferred
- Comfortable balancing analytics, strategy, and hands‑on execution
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership
