About Ottodot

Ottodot teaches live online Math & Science to Singapore primary students through games we built in-house. We've built 200+ games in-house - each one mapped to the MOE syllabus. That's a story nobody is telling properly yet. We want you to tell it. This role is ideal for someone who already creates content, studies social media trends, and enjoys experimenting with hooks, formats, storytelling, and editing.

Work from home with in-person filming at various locations in Singapore

What You'll Do

Come up with short-form video concepts for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and paid ads
Write hooks, scripts, captions, and storyboards
Film content with students, parents, team members, actors, or creators when needed
Create UGC-style videos that feel authentic
Turn product features into parent-facing stories and pain points
Edit short videos quickly using Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
Create multiple variations of hooks, intros, captions, and formats for testing
Study ad/content performance and improve based on what works
Build a swipe file of strong content ideas from education, parenting, enrichment, and consumer brands
Work with the marketing team to produce a steady pipeline of new creative assets

What We're Looking For

You genuinely enjoy making content and understand short-form video culture
You have a portfolio, Tik Tok/IG account, or past content examples to show
You understand hooks, pacing, captions, framing, and why people keep watching
You can write simple, emotionally clear scripts
You can film and edit independently
You are comfortable testing many ideas instead of trying to make one "perfect" video
You can take feedback and turn around revisions quickly
You understand or are curious about parents, students, tuition, enrichment, or Singapore education
You are based in Singapore or able to film locally when required

Nice To Have

Experience creating UGC ads or performance marketing creatives
Experience working with creators, influencers, actors, parents, or children
Familiarity with Meta ads, Tik Tok ads, or creative testing
Basic design skills for thumbnails, subtitles, and simple graphics
Comfortable appearing on camera, though this is not required

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means we are consistently launching new content that helps us learn what parents respond to. You don't need every video to be a winner. You do need to help us produce, test, learn, and improve quickly.

Number of usable video concepts produced each week
Speed of filming and editing
Quality of hooks and storytelling
Ability to generate different angles for the same parent pain point
Improvement in ad/content performance over time
