Marketing and Social Media Specialist

Best Foot Forward is a nonprofit based in Boca Raton, serving at-risk students throughout Palm Beach County. We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing and Social Media Specialist to join our incredible team!

The Marketing and Social Media Specialist will play a crucial role in leading and executing BFF's marketing and communications efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media, content creation, digital marketing and analytics along with excellent writing skills and a passion for nonprofit work.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) with some work from home flexibility.

• Lead BFF's social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and other relevant platforms.
• Create, coordinate and schedule engaging content including copy, graphics, photos and videos.
• Manage website content to ensure it is current, accurate and aligned with BFF's messaging and priorities.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Develop and manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters, including content, design, scheduling, and distribution.
• Develop press releases and other communications as needed.
• Assist with creating compelling messaging and promotional materials that communicate BFF's mission, programs and initiatives.
• Support donor and sponsor outreach and stewardship via marketing and communication.
• Manage marketing timeline for fundraising events.
• Work closely with the Program team to identify activities, stories, and opportunities to showcase content of BFF's mission through social media and marketing.
• Manage outside creative vendors/partners, as needed.
• Stay current on marketing, communications, social media, and digital trends and bring forward innovative ideas to strengthen BFF's visibility and impact.

• Proven experience in marketing and social media creation
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to create visually appealing and effective graphics
• Experience with social media analytics and design/digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Canva)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Passion for nonprofit work and community engagement
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required

Salary: $65000 - $70000 per year
