Sr. Marketing Manager

Lightwave Dental is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing for our specialty dental practices, including oral surgery, dental implants, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialty services.

This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive new patient growth and strengthen referral relationships. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple markets, working directly with doctors and practice leaders, and using data to determine where marketing resources will have the greatest impact.

• Develop marketing strategies and growth plans for specialty practices and service lines.

• Manage marketing budgets and adjust spending based on performance and opportunity.

• Develop programs to increase referrals from general dentists and other providers.

• Oversee paid search, paid social, local SEO, reputation management, and other patient acquisition efforts.

• Partner with specialists on referral outreach, continuing education events, study clubs, and relationship-building initiatives.

• Work with practice teams to improve lead response, scheduling, and conversion.

• Monitor new patient volume, referral trends, cost per lead, cost per new patient, conversion rates, and marketing ROI.

• Manage agency and vendor relationships and hold partners accountable for results.

• Meet regularly with doctors and practice leaders to review performance, understand practice needs, and identify growth opportunities.

• Maintain the local identity of individual practices while supporting Lightwave's overall marketing standards.

• 5+ years of marketing experience.

• Experience in multi-location healthcare, dental, medical, or another location-based service organization preferred.

• Strong experience with digital marketing and patient or customer acquisition.

• Experience managing marketing budgets and outside agencies.

• Strong analytical skills and experience using performance data to guide marketing decisions.

• Ability to build strong working relationships with doctors, practice leaders, and senior leadership.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple practices, markets, and priorities.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Dental or DSO experience is preferred but not required. Experience with specialty healthcare, dental implants, oral surgery, provider referral programs, or other high-value healthcare services is a plus.

This is a primarily remote position. Most meetings, reporting, campaign management, and practice support can be handled virtually. Occasional travel to practices in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina will be required for important meetings, events, and practice visits.

The base salary for this position is $120,000, with additional annual bonus potential based on performance.
