About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to fill the role of Head of E-commerce Strategy. This crucial position, operating remotely from Nelspruit, will be responsible for defining and driving the company's overall e-commerce vision and roadmap. You will identify new market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and develop innovative strategies to ensure sustained growth and market leadership. This is a high-impact role for an experienced e-commerce executive who thrives on strategic thinking, innovation, and leading transformative change in a fully remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and articulate the long-term e-commerce strategy , aligning with overall business goals.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and potential partnerships.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee the strategic planning and execution of new e-commerce initiatives and platform developments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across departments to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce success and monitor progress towards strategic objectives.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce strategy and leadership roles.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful e-commerce growth strategies.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer experience.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, suitable for a remote team environment.
