E-commerce Performance Marketing Specialist

Our client, a leading online retailer, is seeking an E-commerce Performance Marketing Specialist to join their fully remote team. This critical role will focus on developing, implementing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels to drive qualified traffic and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). You will be responsible for managing budgets, analyzing campaign performance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Plan, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, and other relevant channels.
• Continuously monitor and optimize campaign performance to achieve target ROAS, CPA, and other KPIs.
• Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and ad creative testing to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Analyze campaign data and generate insightful reports, providing recommendations for optimization and future strategies.
• Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different campaigns and platforms.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce and marketing teams to align paid media efforts with overall business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in performance marketing and e-commerce advertising.
• Identify new opportunities for growth and testing within the performance marketing landscape.
• Manage retargeting and remarketing campaigns to re-engage potential customers.
• Ensure accurate tracking and attribution for all paid media activities.

• Proven experience in performance marketing, specifically within the e-commerce sector.
• Hands-on experience managing paid search (PPC) and paid social media campaigns.
• Strong proficiency with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other advertising platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in using web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Experience with A/B testing ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be based in South Africa with a reliable internet connection to support remote work.
