Head of Awareness

We’re looking for a Head of Awareness to own the top of our funnel and get Whering in front of as many future Wherers as possible. From press coverage and creator activations to big brand partnerships and culture-first moments, you’ll make sure the world knows who we are, then hand those new users over to our Head of Engagement to turn them into super users.

• A brand-building expert with experience across PR, partnerships and influencer marketing
• Plugged into fashion, tech and culture, and always first to spot who’s styling who
• A natural relationship builder, comfortable with journalists, industry bodies, partners and talent alike
• Strategic but hands-on, happy to set the plan, own a budget and get stuck into delivery
• Data-minded, tracking reach, engagement and ROI to prove what’s working

• Build and run Whering’s PR strategy, keeping a steady drumbeat of news, features and op-eds
• Secure speaking slots, awards and invites to key fashion and tech events
• Build relationships with industry bodies like the BFC and the Ellen Mac Arthur Foundation
• Land sponsor ships, co-marketing campaigns and product collaborations
• Plan and deliver influencer and creator activations, from scouting to long-term partnerships
• Champion product features that drive top-of-funnel growth

• Flexibility: UK-based remote working, plus our 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday)
• Impact: Full ownership of your own strategy and budget, shaping how Whering shows up across media, industry and culture
• Culture: A small and highly collaborative team that cares about quality and purpose

Please note you must have a valid right to work in the United Kingdom.

This isn't a requirement for the role, we are just interested!
