Senior E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager; Remote

Our client, a prominent international e-commerce brand, is seeking a highly accomplished Senior E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager to lead their digital advertising efforts. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in South Africa. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing high-performing paid media strategies across a variety of digital channels to drive profitable sales and customer acquisition for our client's extensive online product catalog.

• Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across channels like Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping), social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In), and affiliate marketing.
• Manage substantial advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spend to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, CPA, and CLV.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance, website analytics, and customer data to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests and other experimental initiatives to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and conversion rates.
• Collaborate closely with creative, content, and web development teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and compelling ad creatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new platform opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in performance marketing best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on e-commerce.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale paid media campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) with significant budgets.
• Expertise in utilizing web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and programmatic advertising.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fully remote capacity is highly desirable.
