Our client, What Jobs Direct, is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Communications Manager to join their Media & PR team. The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication strategies, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling messaging across all platforms.

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with company goals.
• Create engaging content for various channels, including website, social media, email newsletters, and internal communications.
• Manage and oversee the company's online presence and social media platforms.
• Write and edit clear, concise, and impactful communications materials, such as press releases, blog posts, and reports.
• Serve as a key point of contact for media inquiries and manage media relations.
• Develop and execute crisis communication plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging and employee engagement.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Manage external communication vendors and agencies as needed.
• Organize virtual events and webinars.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
• Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Experience with media relations and crisis communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with communication platforms and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Experience in the Media & PR sector is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
