E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager

Our client, a rapidly expanding online retailer, is looking for an experienced E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager to join their team in George, Western Cape . This role will play a crucial part in driving traffic, conversions, and revenue through data-driven digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various performance marketing channels, including SEM, social media advertising, affiliate marketing, and email marketing.

This is a hybrid position, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to contribute effectively while maintaining a balanced work schedule. You will be responsible for optimizing marketing spend, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring a seamless customer acquisition journey from click to conversion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and a proven track record in performance marketing within the e-commerce sector.

• Develop, implement, and manage integrated performance marketing strategies across paid search, paid social, display advertising, affiliate marketing, and email marketing.
• Set and manage campaign budgets, continuously optimizing for CPA, ROAS, and customer lifetime value.
• Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and campaign targeting to improve conversion rates.
• Analyze campaign performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy and visual assets.
• Manage relationships with advertising platforms and third-party vendors.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in performance marketing and e-commerce.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive repeat purchases.
• Monitor website analytics and user behavior to identify areas for improvement in the customer journey.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance marketing, with a significant focus on e-commerce.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and paid social (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) campaigns.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
