What We're Looking For:

Are you an organised, energetic event professional ready to take your career to an international stage? We are looking for an EMEA Events Specialist to join our dynamic marketing organisation. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact trade shows, industry conferences, and executive customer briefings. As part of a collaborative, close-knit team, you will act as the project manager and producer for events that directly influence sales pipelines, strengthen client relationships, and showcase cutting-edge enterprise technology solutions.

This position is offered on a hybrid working model, requiring 3 days per week in the office (typically Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) with 2 days working from home. Our current office is based in Bourne End; however, we will be relocating to a new office in Maidenhead next year (anticipated around summertime). This role involves travelling internationally across the EMEA region approximately 35% of the time.

Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Event Management:
Own the full project lifecycle for designated EMEA B2B trade shows, regional conferences, and vertical market events from scoping and timeline planning to on-site delivery and post-event reporting.
  • Budget Oversight & Cost Control:
Manage allocated event budgets with meticulous accuracy, ensuring all activities remain strictly on budget while negotiating favourable rates with production agencies, venues, and suppliers.
  • Cross-Functional Event Production:
Partner with vertical marketers, product marketers, and brand/creative teams to ensure correct messaging, demos, and brand alignment, while executing targeted event communications and managing lead-delivery processes.
  • Logistics & Financial Operations:
Manage end-to-end project timelines and external vendors, drive weekly stakeholder coordination calls and execute all financial administration, including contracts and purchase orders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Serve as a central coordinator across core departments including Sales, Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance, to ensure consistent brand execution and strategic alignment.
  • On-Site Operations & Travel:
Lead physical, on-site event logistics, setup, and real-time troubleshooting, requiring regular travel across the EMEA region (up to 35%).
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED (Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Events, or Communications preferred).
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in event management, corporate B2B marketing, and executive client briefing coordination.
  • Demonstrated project management & budgeting skills, with a track record of running events within strict financial parameters and negotiating with outside suppliers.
  • Hands-on proficiency with event and project management tools such as Cvent, Smartsheet, and Salesforce, alongside Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Forms, Excel).
  • Excellent storytelling abilities when presenting event metrics, ROI, and performance…
