E-commerce Growth Hacker & Digital Strategist

Our client, a forward-thinking e-commerce disruptor, is looking for a highly analytical and creative E-commerce Growth Hacker & Digital Strategist to join their expanding team. This role is all about driving rapid, sustainable growth through innovative marketing tactics and data-driven insights. You will be responsible for identifying new customer acquisition channels, optimizing conversion rates, and enhancing customer lifetime value. This is a remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere, but you'll be a key player in shaping the future of online retail for our client, based conceptually in George, Western Cape

• Design and execute innovative growth strategies across multiple digital channels, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
• Conduct extensive A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) on website landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows.
• Analyze user behavior data, website analytics, and campaign performance to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
• Explore and test emerging digital marketing channels and technologies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on growth initiatives.
• Manage marketing automation platforms and optimize email marketing campaigns for maximum impact.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform growth planning.
• Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Create and present regular reports on key growth metrics and campaign performance to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in e-commerce growth hacking, digital marketing strategy, or performance marketing.
• Demonstrated success in driving significant business growth through data-driven experimentation and optimization.
• Expertise in A/B testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely).
• Strong proficiency with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
• Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media advertising.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
