Senior E-commerce Growth Manager

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding e-commerce business, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior E-commerce Growth Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This pivotal role is responsible for driving online sales, customer acquisition, and retention strategies across all digital channels. • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce growth strategies, including customer acquisition, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and customer lifetime value (CLV) enhancement.
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) to drive traffic and sales.
• Oversee social media marketing efforts, including content strategy, community management, and influencer collaborations, to build brand awareness and engagement.
• Analyze website performance data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, IT) to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce initiatives.
• Manage the e-commerce budget, tracking ROI and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Conduct A/B testing on website elements, marketing campaigns, and promotional offers to maximize conversion rates.
• Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field;
  Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a strong focus on growth hacking and digital marketing.
• Proven experience in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns (SEM, social media advertising).
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social media strategies that drive engagement and sales.
• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Woo Commerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Strong understanding of SEO, CRO, email marketing, and CRM principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders.
• Experience working in the Johannesburg, Gauteng market is advantageous.
