We're hiring an Account Director for one of our biggest sports and entertainment clients. The work covers sports book, fantasy and live events, and the campaigns are judged on views, CPV and how quickly we can get from brief to live post.
You'll own this one account end to end, with two Campaign Managers reporting into you.
The account is newly won and growing quickly into the end of the year. An interim lead is running it until then, so you'll get a proper handover and join with campaigns already live.
We're looking for someone who has spent at least five years agency-side running creator programmes in sports betting, DFS or around the NFL and NBA, and who can show us the numbers behind that work.
What makes this role differentOne account, in depth. Most Account Director roles, run a portfolio of clients and build CM teams underneath them. This role is responsible for one is a single client. We need someone who understands sports, betting and the US creator space properly.
Senior and hands-on. You're the client's senior contact and you're also across the detail every day: who has been outreached, what's stuck in contracting, which draft is late, whether spend is on pace. You run the operations yourself.
Structure matters. This client tracks delivery milestones, feedback windows and their own dependencies against a timeline. You bring the process, keep the client to their side of it and keep everyone on top of dates.
Speed matters. Campaigns are built around games and moments. Turnaround from brief to live is one of the things we measure you on.
The category has rules. Sports book and fantasy content comes with age gates, state restrictions and platform policies. You need to already know how these work.
It moves fast. Briefs land with short lead times, priorities change with the sports calendar, and the client expects answers the same day. You need to be comfortable working at that pace without letting quality slip.
We are an AI-native business. Kyra is Claude-first and our campaign workflows run through our own proprietary platform, built with AI at the core. On top of that there is plenty of room to use AI tools to make your own working day more efficient. We are not looking for someone who is open to AI. We are looking for someone who is already getting real value from it: building their own workflows, automating the repetitive parts of the job and using the time saved to think harder about the client.
You will be expected to bring that with you.
Grow the client relationship. Grow the client relationship. You own the client relationship and retention on this account, and you’re measured on net revenue retention (NRR). You are the client’s senior contact at Kyra, accountable for strategy, approvals, escalations and commercial conversations. You keep them informed, manage their expectations and identify what we should be doing next with them.
Agree how the account runs. You own the operating playbook: casting, outreach, contracting, briefing, review, approval, go-live and reporting. You keep it current, and when a process is slowing delivery you change it.
Make the casting calls. You set the casting strategy for every campaign: creator profile, tier, mix and volume. You set the negotiation approach on fees and usage rights and approve deals before contracting. You…
