Remote Public Relations Lead

Our client, a rapidly expanding international Fin Tech company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Public Relations Lead to spearhead their communications efforts. This is a fully remote leadership role, offering the opportunity to build and execute a global PR strategy from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative PR campaigns, managing media relations, crafting compelling narratives, and protecting and enhancing our client's brand reputation.

• Develop and execute comprehensive global public relations strategies to support business objectives and enhance brand visibility.
• Lead media relations efforts, cultivating strong relationships with key financial, business, and technology journalists worldwide.
• Craft high-impact press releases, executive talking points, position papers, and other strategic communication materials.
• Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch compelling stories to relevant outlets.
• Manage crisis communications, developing and implementing response strategies to protect the company's reputation.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of thought leadership content.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, investor relations, and executive leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, reporting on key metrics and providing strategic insights.
• Manage PR agencies and external communication partners as needed.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging communication technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in public relations, with significant experience in the financial services or Fin Tech industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful global PR strategies and campaigns.
• Exceptional media relations skills with a strong network of national and international contacts.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis communications and reputation management.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
