E-commerce CRM & Email Marketing Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled E-commerce CRM & Email Marketing Specialist to optimize customer relationships and drive sales through targeted campaigns. This role, based in Mahikeng, North West , will focus on leveraging CRM data to create personalized email marketing strategies, enhance customer loyalty, and increase repeat purchases. You will be responsible for segmenting customer databases, designing engaging email campaigns, and analyzing performance to refine strategies.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of CRM systems, email marketing best practices, and how to use data to create impactful customer experiences within an e-commerce context. You will collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, and data analytics teams to ensure cohesive customer communication.

• Develop and implement CRM strategies to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
• Design, build, and execute effective email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart emails).
• Segment customer databases based on behavior, demographics, and purchase history for targeted outreach.
• Write compelling copy and collaborate with designers to create visually appealing email templates.
• Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and provide actionable insights.
• Manage the CRM platform, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• A/B test different subject lines, content, and sending times to optimize campaign performance.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in CRM, email marketing, and e-commerce customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA).
• Collaborate with other marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints.

• Proven experience in CRM management and email marketing, preferably within e-commerce.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zoho CRM) and email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Active Campaign).
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation and personalization techniques.
