Affiliate Marketing Specialist

Our client, a rapidly growing online retailer, is seeking a motivated and analytical Affiliate Marketing Specialist to develop and manage their affiliate program. This role will focus on recruiting, managing, and optimizing relationships with affiliate partners to drive qualified traffic and sales. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of affiliate marketing platforms, performance metrics, and partnership management. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa.

Based in the Northern Cape region, you will be instrumental in expanding our client's reach through strategic partnerships. We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to drive results in an affiliate marketing context.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy to acquire new customers and increase revenue.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with new and existing affiliate partners.
• Negotiate commission structures and terms with affiliates.
• Monitor affiliate program performance, track key metrics (e.g., clicks, conversions, ROI), and provide regular reports.
• Identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance through A/B testing and data analysis.
• Ensure affiliate compliance with brand guidelines and program policies.
• Utilize affiliate tracking software and platforms to manage the program effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in affiliate marketing.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of affiliate efforts with overall business objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing or a related performance marketing role.
• Proven experience in recruiting and managing affiliate partners.
• Familiarity with affiliate marketing platforms and tracking technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
• Understanding of online advertising and digital marketing channels.
