Our client is a growing, multi-brand UK leisure and entertainment group with a portfolio of venues spanning sport, social and family experiences. It’s an estate with very different audiences under one roof, from members and regulars to groups, families and first-time visitors, and it has a clear growth plan for the next few years.
This is a newly created role in the central marketing team, reporting to the Head of Brand & Proposition. It connects proposition strategy to what happens in venue. You’ll make sure that what the brand promises is what the customer gets, on site, at every venue. It’s a business that wants ideas, energy and people who’ll challenge how things have always been done.
The Role- Build go-to-market plans for propositions across the whole portfolio, covering acquisition, retention and loyalty, visit frequency, spend per visit and advocacy.
- Turn brand and proposition strategy into practical launch plans that venue teams can pick up and run with.
- Work with General Managers and venue teams so propositions are understood, adopted and delivered consistently on the ground.
- Brief the creative and content team on proposition and campaign requirements, and hold the output to the brief.
- Coordinate launches with the CRM, acquisition and commercial teams so every channel lands at the same time.
- Track how propositions perform, gather feedback from venues and use it to sharpen the next launch.
- Give proposition and go-to-market input into master planning and decisions on what each destination should be.
- Experience in brand, proposition or product marketing, with a track record of turning strategy into go-to-market plans and campaign briefs.
- Experience landing national or portfolio-wide initiatives across multi-site teams. You’ll know how to win over a GM who has a venue to run.
- Strong briefing and project management, holding several launches at once without dropping detail.
- Enough presence to bring central and venue teams into the proposition story and keep them there.
- Strategic thinking with practical delivery skills, plus solid Excel.
- Hospitality, leisure, entertainment or multi-site consumer experience is a real plus. So is experience across several brands or audiences rather than just one.
- Familiarity with proposition, portfolio or brand architecture frameworks is desirable, as is a marketing qualification, whether completed or in progress.
