FMCG Brand Manager

Our client, a leading player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to join their vibrant team in

• Develop and implement integrated brand marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, public relations, and digital marketing initiatives, to achieve brand objectives.
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights, competitive landscape, and market trends to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
• Manage the overall brand P&L, ensuring profitability and effective budget allocation across all marketing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies and product launches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, media partners, and suppliers to maximize brand impact and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor brand performance metrics, analyze results, and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead the development of compelling brand communication strategies and creative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
• Oversee packaging design, pricing strategies, and distribution channels to ensure alignment with brand positioning.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive brand management experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong understanding of the South African consumer market.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful brand strategies that have driven significant business results.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing brand budgets and P&Ls.
• Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working with creative and media agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
