Har Mishpacha is a rapidly growing Jewish congregation serving Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley. We’re a small but dedicated community with a hands‑on staff, an engaged Board of Directors, and an active volunteer base. With about 165 member families, 5 staff members, and 30 active volunteers
, we thrive on collaboration, creativity, and shared leadership.
As a small organization, we value team members who are comfortable in an “all hands on deck” environment
—people who can roll up their sleeves, pivot as needed, and bring positive energy to a dynamic, relationship‑driven workplace.
The Membership and Engagement Director plays a vital role in cultivating a thriving, connected, and growing Jewish community at Har Mishpacha. This position focuses on relationship‑building, community organizing, membership recruitment and retention, communications, stewardship, and program management
—while also supporting member‑led initiatives that bring our community together.
You’ll be the primary point of connection for members, prospective members, visitors, and community partners, ensuring every interaction with Har Mishpacha is welcoming, meaningful, and aligned with our values. This role collaborates closely with the Rabbi, staff, volunteers, and lay leaders to strengthen engagement pathways, deepen participation, and support the growth and long‑term sustainability of the congregation.
