Job Overview

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen (CCDOM), a non-profit social services agency, is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join their team in Bridgewater, NJ.

CCDOM provides quality services with dignity and respect to the poor, vulnerable, and all people in need, serving over 68,000 clients per year throughout Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties in NJ.

• Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assist families in obtaining and retaining housing in Hunterdon, Mercer, Somerset, and Warren Counties.
• Provides and coordinates substance abuse services in-home.
• Case management and case documentation skills are essential.
• Attends case conferences with Child Protection and Permanency (CP&P) and other providers.
• Remote work possible after 3-month probationary period.

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field and 2 years of related experience.
• CADC or LCADC certification.
• Rotating 24/7 coverage required.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on nights and weekends.
• Driver’s license needed with an acceptable driving history.
