Whatto Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop a framework and support capacity building for UNICEF’s programmatic approach on supporting survivors of conflict-affected sexual violence
- Finalize a sample donor proposal on GBV/cash integrated programming and related capacity building
- Map new opportunities for resource mobilization and develop materials for funding applications
- Organize information sessions to socialize available GBViE assets for resource mobilization
- Conduct webinars and workshops to enhance internal capacity and advocacy efforts
- Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in public health, social work, political science, human rights, international law, or related field
- Fluency in English and French; working proficiency in other official UN languages is desirable
- At least 10 years of humanitarian or related work experience in GBV programming in conflict-affected countries
- Solid understanding of GBV guiding principles and the survivor-centered approach
- Proven experience in resource mobilization and developing products for donors
- Experience working on GBV risk mitigation with other humanitarian sectors/clusters
- Familiarity with UNICEF’s working modalities and internal communication
- Creative and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for multicultural environments
- Proven skills in networking, strategic thinking, advocacy, and negotiation
