E. Johnson is seeking the Democratic nomination for Mayor of the District of Columbia. His campaign focuses on improving equity, education, and addressing violence and trauma. Ernest brings a committed and empathetic approach to his mayoral campaign, striving to enhance the community’s well‑being and growth.
This is a volunteer hybrid role for the Ground Operations Staff on the Ernest Johnson for Mayor campaign. The role is located in the Washington DC‑Baltimore Area, but some work from home is acceptable. Responsibilities include direct voter contact, event coordination, canvassing, data entry, and supporting campaign activities on the ground. Ground Operations Staff will also assist in rallying community support and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day campaign operations.
Qualifications- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for community involvement and political campaigns
- Previous experience in community organizing or political campaigns is a plus
