Development ManagerReports to:
Director of Development
The Development Manager will assist the Director of Development with fundraising and stewardship strategies to enhance relationships and advance the philanthropic priorities of the organization(s). This position reports to the Director of Development.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee programs established through philanthropy.
- Ensure exceptional stewardship of all donations.
- Perform annual giving duties, including, but not limited to annual giving calendar, communications, create and execute giving programs.
- Cultivate relationships with current donors and prospective donors.
- Ensure proper documentation of donor information and donations.
- Research and create prospective lists for funding initiatives.
- Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgements of all donations.
- Create collaterals to highlight the priorities of the organization and impact of donations.
- Assist in planning special events that effectively communicate the philanthropic priorities of the organization.
- Manage programs of the Foundation, including reporting to donors of the program.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Position is in an office setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions. On occasion, the individual must be able to do moderately demanding physical activity such as handling and opening boxes weighing 35-40 pounds, standing, and walking extensively throughout the day.
