This is a hybrid Community Volunteer role based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, with opportunities for remote work as well as in-person involvement. Volunteers will assist with organizing community outreach programs and events, supporting the delivery of services to individuals affected by IBD. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating community events, distributing educational materials, engaging with community members, and supporting organizational initiatives.

Volunteers will work closely with the foundation team to ensure impactful community service.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse community members.
• Organizational and event coordination abilities to assist in planning and executing programs and activities.
• Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to supporting underserved populations facing health disparities.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other volunteers and staff members.
• Basic knowledge or interest in public health, community outreach, or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Flexibility to work on a hybrid schedule, combining remote tasks and physical presence for events or programs in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
