Role DescriptionThe Mentorship Program Development Lead is a volunteer, remote role focused on creating and enhancing our mentorship initiatives. Responsible for building, leading, and improving Empowered Futures’ mentorship programs. The Lead owns the entire mentorship journey from program design and mentor‑mentee onboarding to quality control, team leadership, and impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Empowered Futures’ digital mentorship programs.
- Design and implement a mentor–mentee matching framework that aligns participants based on interests, goals, skills, availability, and development needs.
- Design and oversee structured onboarding and training content for mentors and mentees to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.
- Develop a structured mentorship journey, including program timelines, milestones, check‑ins, and success criteria.
- Identify, design, and facilitate workshops, learning sessions, and skill‑building activities to enhance the mentor and mentee experience.
- Collaborate closely with the IT team to enhance and optimize the digital mentorship platform where mentors and mentees register, onboard, and engage.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and cross‑functional stakeholders to assess and enhance the mentorship curriculum.
- Lead and mentor a team of Program Strategists by providing direction, support, and ongoing guidance to achieve program goals.
- Analyze program data and feedback to identify trends, measure impact, and recommend improvements for continuous growth.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations to expand the reach, quality, and impact of mentorship initiatives.
- Proven minimum 5 years experience in Program Development, Business, Project Management, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- Strong passion for mentorship and youth development, with a commitment to empowering emerging adults.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
