PositionSummary
The Fund Development Assistant provides administrative and data support to the fundraising team. This role supports donor relations, gift processing, data entry, and research to ensure accurate records and effective fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Enter and maintain donor and gift information in the donor database with accuracy and timeliness
- Process donations, acknowledgments, and thank-you letters
- Conduct donor and prospect research to support fundraising strategies
- Assist with preparing donor reports, mailing lists, and fundraising materials
- Support fundraising events and donor communications as needed
- Maintain organized digital and paper fundraising files
- Assist with tracking fundraising metrics and deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with donor databases or CRM systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to handle confidential donor information with professionalism
- Prior nonprofit or fundraising experience
- Basic research skills and data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
