Location: Greater London
Salary:£25,973 plus £3,333 Inner London Allowance per annum.
Location:London. (Hybrid working) Remote working also possible.
Contract:Fixed Term Contract for 12 months, 35 hours per week.
29 days annual leave PLUS bank holidays, with up to 5additional days for continuous service andoption to buy or sell leave.

A bit about the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join Action for Children as a High Value Communications Officer on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months covering maternity leave.
You will be responsible for producing compelling donor communication materials and funding proposals for high value donors and supporting funding opportunities across the team.
How you'll help to create brighter futures by- Ensuring high value fundraisers have a suite of ‘off the shelf’ content they need to inspire and engage potential and existing supporters.
- Write high quality proposals, concept notes and other fundraising materials for major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.
- Provide high quality stewardship, grant management and reporting materials for strategic grants.
- Advise fundraisers on the funding priorities across the organisation.
- Maintain an up to date, fit for purpose list of cost examples for use by teams across Fundraising.
- Build excellent working relationships across key teams, acting as the ‘go to’ for programmatic information.
- Experience of producing high quality written materials that are tailored to the needs of internal or external audiences.
- Experience of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate technical programme information into compelling donor communications for different audiences.
- Ability to interpret and analyse financial information.
- Initiative-taking and self-organised.
