About the Role:

Our volunteers bring people together for shared learning experiences, based on positive psychology, that boost the wellbeing of everyone involved.

Our groups and courses can be run online or in-person in your local community.

Social Media Awareness Co-ordinator

No Panic is a national self-help charity which supports people with a range of anxiety problems, including panic attacks, OCD, agoraphobia, social phobia and health anxiety. We are looking for a skilled volunteer to co-ordinate our Social Media Awareness Team remotely.

This is a team of volunteers including Social Media Awareness Raisers, who film and edit interviews with people about anxiety, their experiences and advice. Some training may be provided upon starting your role. You will be supported by the Social Media Awareness Team Co-ordinator.

Social Media Awareness Raiser

Social media awareness raisers will create and edit videos about anxiety that may be uploaded to You Tube, Tik Tok and Instagram. They may be asked to interview people who create content about anxiety, about their experiences and advice. Some training may be provided upon starting your role. You will be supported by the Social Media Awareness Team Co-ordinator.

Fundraising Platforms Team Revenue Maximiser

Fundraising Platforms Team Revenue Maximisers are required to help No Panic maximise income from various online platforms, such as Just Giving and Go Fund Me .

Tasks may include identifying revenue-generation tools provided by platforms, making sure No Panic has accounts connected to those tools, creating and maintaining online stores on shopping websites, and encouraging No Panic to engage with supporters online.

Advanced Helpline Volunteer

No Panic is looking for empathetic, understanding, confident and driven people to volunteer on our helpline. We are specifically seeking people who have experience of providing training to staff or volunteers.

Working from home, successful applicants will answer helpline calls and provide support and advice for people with a range of anxiety disorders, by listening and offering guidance.

Online Social Group Volunteer for Trans+ Charity

Group hosts needed for an online social group for Trans+ Charity. Are you a passionate supporter of the trans+ community? Whether you’re trans+ or cis, part of the queer community or a straight ally, Beyond Reflections would love to have you join our team of dedicated volunteers.

As a volunteer host, your role will be to help create a supportive and enjoyable space where our members can connect and feel welcome.

Online Support Group Volunteer for Trans+ Charity

Our online groups offer a supportive environment for trans, non-binary and questioning individuals.

Children and Young People Connected Minds Volunteer

Connected Minds is an eight-week early intervention programme for 10–13-year-olds (Year 6-8) experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and emotional problems and low attendance at school.

We are specifically recruiting for:
Bridport on a Thursday morning;
Wareham on a Friday morning starting in September.

We empower young people to look after their own mental health and wellbeing.

Bridport Community Front Room Volunteer

Do you enjoy helping people? Are you good at staying calm and reassuring others? If you have experienced mental health issues or supported someone close to you, you can help at the Bridport Community Front Room (at The Harmony Centre), the Bridport and area local mental health crisis drop-in service.

We are looking for kind and enthusiastic volunteers for weekend and evening opportunities.
