Community Walk Assistant - Remote or GTA

Become a Community Walk Program Assistant with Breakthrough T1D to support vital fundraising activities across Ontario. This role emphasizes detail management and effective communication to assist our mission.

Breakthrough T1D seeks a proactive individual dedicated to enhancing event success through excellent organizational skills. You will coordinate outreach efforts, ensure database updates, and assist with social media for fundraising events. This part-time position is perfect for young, enthusiastic candidates looking to gain valuable experience in a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee communications for fundraising walks

• Execute data entry and maintain event records

• Craft and manage social media content for events

• Provide technical support to online registrants

• Coordinate follow-up and stewardship communications

Requirements:

• Aged 15-30 at employment start

• Must have a valid SIN and Canadian citizenship/residency

• Relevant education in fundraising or similar fields

• Strong communication abilities for participant interaction

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
