Glenkens Food Coordinator

Position Details

• Closing Date: 25th June
• Hours per week: Freelance role – 7 hours a week in July and August (9 weeks) and 14 hours a week during September delivery month
• Salary: £20 per hour

We are seeking to fill the freelance post of Glenkens Food Month Coordinator. The Coordinator will take the lead on coordinating the delivery of Glenkens Food Month 2025 across the Glenkens. They will bring together the efforts of volunteer organisations or businesses who put on each event into a cohesive whole and create effective publicity for the whole month.

Hours will be flexible, with an average of 7 per week through July and August and 14 per week during the September delivery month. You will be expected to manage these allocations sensibly to accommodate partner availability and event timings. Evening and some weekend work will be required, as well as working from home or the Cat Strand on planning and admin tasks.

Travel around the Glenkens to meet partner organisations will be essential. Some time will need to be allocated for project evaluation and reporting after September.
